More than ever, the charities that provide families with food and shelter need your help.
The Rotary Club of Naperville is hosting its annual Soup’s On! fundraiser on October 16th to raise funds to benefit three local charities whose missions focus on ending hunger and homelessness – Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry of Naperville, Hesed House of Aurora and DuPage PADS of Wheaton.
Soups On!, a fun, family event, will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, October 16th, at the Tellabs Atrium, 1415 W. Diehl Road in Naperville. While the name says soup, this fundraiser offers a full menu to sample. More than twenty of the area’s top restaurants will be serving everything from beef tenderloin and pulled pork sandwiches, artisan breads, and a selection of gourmet cheeses to a wide variety of soups, chili, and gumbo. Guests will also enjoy many decadent desserts. This family event will also offer a children’s food and beverage menu.
Musical entertainment will be provided by national award-winning high school student musical ensembles from Districts 203 and 204. A silent auction is planned, and there will be a special children’s play area sponsored by the DuPage Children’s Museum.
In just three years, the Rotary Club of Naperville raised over $275,000 for the three charities.

Every year, through the House of Dreams Raffle and Soups On, the Rotary Club of Naperville provides over $300,000 to dozens of local charities, for international projects, and for scholarships.
